Building a hexagon picnic table is a bit more difficult than a simple A Frame. It requires more work with corners which basically means a lot more sawing. In my opinion it is vital to have good plans when you go for this one since a little mistake can result in nothing fitting and you not knowing why.

Building an octagon picnic table is not all that different from  building a hexagon picnic table. It’s the same basic structure with different angles and more sawing.
